We would like to thank you from the very bottom of our hearts for the way you, our loyal friends and devotees, turned out on Boston Common the other night. It was a magical summer evening for all of us and we couldn’t ask for better supporters then the ones we’ve got. Boston is the greatest city on earth and the greatest place on the planet for many reasons but at the top of that list, I put you guys.
Thanks for the love, continue being you.

Passes for the LSG Fundraiser are sold out. Thank you for your support!
We’ve received inquiries from people unable to attend but interested in contributing to this wonderful fund. Donations can be made here.
It has been just about a year since our old friend Matt Badger lost his daughters Lily age 9 and twin girls Sarah and Grace age 7, in a tragic house fire last Christmas morning in Stamford Connecticut. While many of you are likely familiar with this sad event, you may be unaware of Matt Badger’s connection to the BossToneS. Matt was a member of one of Boston’s first Ska bands Mission Impossible. Matt and his band influenced the BossToneS a great deal. Matt even played some of the keyboards on our first album Devil’s Night Out. The tragic events that took place last Christmas in Matt’s life weighed heavily on us during last year’s Throwdown. This year we are happy to be helping contribute to a wonderful cause in memory of Matt’s beautiful girls.

We are excited to announce the final list of bands taking part in the Throwdown this year!
12/29 features the soulful, Ska sounds of Nashville’s Soul Radics and Boston garage rock legends The Dogmatics. We had the pleasure of playing with Soul Radics recently in Atlanta and we’re really pumped these guys (and gal) are making the trip. Many of you are likely familiar with our cover of the Dogmatics classic “It sure don’t feel like X-mas time.” We grew up with these guys and look forward to sharing the stage, and some laughs again after all these years!
12/30 we’ll be joined by our Jersey pals The Bouncing Souls and special guest, Boston rapper Moufy. Needless to say we’re super lucky to have the Souls coming to the Throwdown on the heels of their own NJ holiday extravaganza. Moufy, with his high-energy show and heartfelt Boston anthems, will make for a cool and exciting change of pace that we’re sure you’ll enjoy!
12/31 We have the Amazing Royal Crowns, Big D and the Kids Table plus…the Convictions. We’ve been asking the Crowns to Throwdown for ages and we’re really happy to play a part in this long-overdue Reunion. Since the Big D guys are usually backstage drinking our beer anyway, we just asked them to bring their instruments along this year. Really though it’s been quite a while since Big D last played the Throwdown so it’s great to have the lads back in the mix! As an extra New Years Eve treat, we’ll kick the night off with the Throwdown’s first international band, the Convictions, all the way from Japan!
As always, there will likely be a few surprises waiting in the wings…
See you in Boston!
